Born in Beirut in 1978, Mitch Bassoul’s life was shaped by the echoes of war. His family’s escape led them to Paris, where he discovered his love for music.
Blending rock, pop, and folk with a touch of psychedelia, Mitch’s music became a canvas for the complexities of life.

In 2023, he unveiled “Shall We Keep on Sipping Whisky and Wine,” an album that delves into the depths of human experience, exploring themes of loneliness, death, love, war, alienation, and paranoia. Influenced by iconic bands like The Beatles, Pink Floyd, but also Bob Dylan and Neil Young, his melodies resonate with raw emotion and authenticity, drawing in a diverse audience.

Mitch’s musical journey took him from the vibrant streets of Paris to the stages of London and Austin, Texas.
In London, he graced renowned venues like the Marquee, and in Austin, he became the heartbeat of The Wyldz. Together, they traversed the United States, leaving their mark with albums like “Human Rise” and “Interstellar Troubadours,” crafted alongside acclaimed producer Steve Albini at Electrical Audio in Chicago.

Back in Paris, Mitch continued his musical odyssey, rocking local stages with the bands Midnite Trippers and Arrogant Criminals.
